This has been such an awesome weekend and I really have to say that alot of it has to be because I’ve been able to spend it with the other half of Team Walker. For the first time in years, we’ve been able to spend the weekend together because I haven’t been working. We had the Peoria Jaycees scavenger hunt on Saturday which was a blast. Granted, I would have liked to have more than a three hour time limit, but we had a blasssssst. John proposed to JO at the end of the hunt, at the Heights water tower which was uber cool and romantic at the same time. Today (Sunday) we ran out and bought the super sweet steel cooler on a cart and then hit Borders for a couple of Deadliest Catch books. As we were leaving Grand Prairie, the dill weed next to me wouldn’t let me in the left turn lane, so we ended up at Gander Mountain. By the way, Gander is a very dangerous place for Team Walker. We bought the fish breader shakey thingy, a reel and rod on sale for $20, something for Rob’s bow and both our full year license for fishing, waterfowl and birds. Sweet. I also saw the coolest thing, which I’ll be going back to buy. It’s a cooler, shaped as a red and white bobber that’s waterproof. When Rob goes on the canoe trip, he can just tie a cord to the cooler and let it float. Plus, it’ll be super cool for the pool. I hate to say it but I think Rob has really got me on the nature kick. Who would have thought that a city girl, like me, would be loving and feeding birds and constantly on the lookout for the coolest camping/fishing/canoeing gear? Not I…
