In the Hospital…

Written on February 13th in Uncategorized

I woke up early this morning to horrible chills and a fever. My doctor told Rob he wanted to see me to make sure I was okay. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d be admitted since I’ve felt so much worse before. But, my pulse ox was low and apparently I look as miserable as I feel. So far, the consensus is the flu since I had a temperature of over 101 which is HUGE for me. I normally run pretty low. Hopefully, it will be a short stay and we caught everything early enough. One bad thing is that there weren’t any rooms on the 4th floor so I’m on the coronary floor which seems pretty strange. Oh, and I don’t have a private shower. But, I do have wifi which I hope will help my sanity…

So, you have to shower with other chicks? Nice!

… sponge bath with other chicks. And with the WiFi, we could get that on web cam.

That is scary. We just ran a story on the flu hitting later than normal. That is unfortunate to hear you got the bug-and a bad case of it. Why did you get admitted?

That sucks, Ang! One thing Illinois is good for….getting sick!

At least with the wifi you’ll be able to catch up on all the blogging you’ve missed while gone!

I read something today that said the flu is bad this year because the vaccine only works for about 40% of the strains, and the one going around just happens to be one for which it doesn’t work. Shocking.
