I can’t believe this.
I went to a gas station to get air in my tires and holy shit, the air pump was working.
Normally I have to drive around to twelve different gas stations because either a) I pull up, throw .75 in the machine and nothing happens or b) an old torn Out of Order sign in barely hanging on by the gum somebody stuck it on with.
I think the skies parted and angels sang.
I have, however, come up with a brand new huge pet peeve.
When calling someone for work, I generally leave a message or talk to someone who is extremely excited. I’m not used to gatekeepers because I’m not trying to sell anyone anything. I really don’t appreciate a gatekeeper when the person I called is obviously standing next to the gatekeeper and the gatekeeper is relaying my message to that person. Believe it or not, I’m not deaf yet and I can hear you. Sometimes I wish I had the ability to be a huge pompous ass but I think that gene got lost in the mix.
Angie..The CASEY’s store on Big Hollow Road has an air hose..and, it’s FREE. I’ve used it for years. Always works too.
Also, the Casey’s on Farmington Road near Crusen’s Bar has free air….snicker.
Free air? Wow, I thought free air had gone out with big hair in the eighties.
The gas station next to Jumer’s has a working pump. I just hate paying 75 cents for air. I’ll gladly spend a dollar in gas to drive to Casey’s for the free air.
WTF does this have to do with free air JIM? YIKES! Sorry Angie~ This guy has more drama than you need to deal with! I think….oh, never mind~
hmmmm…..maybe one story is about air, and the other is about hot air?????
The Marathon at the corner of Lakeland and N Morton Ave in Morton also has free air. In case you’re ever in the area. Why you would be I have no idea. I only know because I live right next to it.
No “huge pompous ass” gene?
Too bad. That comes in very handy in the blogging business.
